Will therapy actually work?
Have you ever heard someone tell you, “just think on the bright side of things and you’ll be fine”? If only it were that easy, right?
Me: I’m here to hold space without judgement while providing tools to help unpack the connection of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We can work through everyday life struggles, as well as something more specific such as anxiety, depression, or suicidal ideation.
You: Show up as you. Change doesn’t happen if you don’t allow yourself to acknowledge what is actually happening and when you feel your feelings. Chances are that you aren’t the only person struggling with your inner critic, and together, we can work to normalize and shrink it.
I know that transitions and changes sometime suck, leaving you feeling uncertain on what the next step is.
Learning about why we think and feel the way we do is paramount to growth. I strive for the well-being of all my clients, which can’t happen without accountability in our choices. My clients appreciate that I’m relatable to them and can share experiences to feel more connected and empowered.
I encourage and guide you to challenge thinking patterns in order to feel more in control of your own life. Supporting you through choices to engage in healthy decisions that will ultimately allow you to enjoy your life at whatever point you are.
“Acceptance is not love. You love a person because he or she has lovable traits, but you accept everybody just because they're alive and human.” -Albert Ellis, PhD
I’d love to help you adapt to changes you may be experiencing, to help you feel more confident and live without fear or avoidance. If this sounds like something you’re ready for, shoot me an email.
